About us Our team offers comprehensive chiropractic care, naturopathic medicine, and therapeutic massage to our patients. We are looking for someone passionate about providing care to those with chronic pain. Job responsibilities include performing 55-minute hands on massage and 5-minute intake with patients (60-minute appointments) and completing accurate chart notes in Jane app, our practice management software. 15 minute turn over time between massages, 10-minutes expected for charting and flipping your room, 5 minutes of break.

Necessary supplies provided:

linens, lotion, massage cream, oil, table, and our patient base! Most LMTs reach a full schedule by 4 weeks at the office. Maintaining patient relationships and encouraging them to return in order to keep your schedule filled is expected. The right candidate for this job should possess the following: Excellent palpation & manual therapy skills Efficiency and ability to pay attention to detail and read patient's chart notes so problem areas can be properly addressed Ability to interact well with patients, doctors and staff in a professional manner Qualifications Hold current state massage therapy license and liability insurance Adhere to all current regulations and laws related to massage therapy. LMT is responsible for all CEU's and LMT license renewal. Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality and professionalism. 20-minute HIPAA certification expected within first 2 weeks of work. Expectations and Duties Disinfect massage table, change massage bedding and fold laundry between clients Consult with Chiropractors before/after massage to help with treatment plan development Chart notes must be completed before your last shift of the week is over, no exceptions. Strong preference for any days Monday-Thursday, but we have room availability Monday through Sunday. There are no other LMTs currently working Saturday or Sundays, so we expect a patient base to build quickly for weekend offerings. Shift can start as early as 8am and go as late as 8:30pm. Looking for a minimum of 4 massages per day.

Salary:

$47-52/massage. NOT including tips - keep your tips in full on top of the per massage rate - Starting rate depends on experience. Around 50% of our client base tips! LMTs can offer up to 3 add-on services up to $25 each. Must provide your own add-on service supplies. Add-ons are paid out at a rate of 80% to the LMT and 20% to the business (example: for a $15 add-on, you keep $12) Bonus available for long day ($2/massage on a massage shift with 5 60-min massages booked or $2.50/massage for shifts with 6 or more 60-min booked massages). This bonus is on top of the per massage rate. No-shows paid out at $35/massage with LMT expected to complete 30 minutes of laundry/office duties during that hour. For your first 2 weeks, any unfilled massages in your shift will be paid out at $25 and we will use the time to train you on charting/scheduling/general office duties. Looking for a candidate willing to work a minimum of 6 massage hours per week up to 24 massage hours per week (part-time employee or independent contractor). Benefits include reduced rate for massage and naturopathic care, and one pro-bono chiro appointment per month. Rooms are also available for low rent if you would like to have your own practice run out of our office outside of our office hours (9-5:30 Mon, 9-6 Tues-Thurs, 9-3 Fri) Open to an LMT interested in being a chiropractic assistant or working occasional reception hours at a separate hourly rate.
