How Our Pay Works We don't think the work surrounding an appointment should be unpaid. For each scheduled 60-minute massage, you are paid at your LMT hourly rate for 75 minutes . That additional paid time accounts for things such as charting, room turnover and patient transitions. That works out to approximately $40-$50 earned for every completed 60-minute massage.

• If you're clocked in but don't have a massage scheduled, you can remain on the clock and assist with other office responsibilities at our secondary Chiropractic Assistant hourly rate. This means you're not simply sitting around unpaid every time there's a gap in the massage schedule. Patients may also leave gratuities if they choose. Requirements Current Oregon Massage Therapist license Comfortable providing therapeutic and deep tissue massage Reliable, professional and able to communicate effectively Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a small team Chiropractic Assistant certification, or willingness to obtain it Not certified as a Chiropractic Assistant yet? That's okay. We pay for the initial class and license fees, annual renewal fees, and provide CE reimbursement to help with renewal requirements. Interested?
