The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology, with the ability to provide therapeutic massage services tailored to individual client needs. This role requires proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service in a med spa environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs and preferences. Perform various types of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and client progress, utilizing medical terminology where necessary. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all clients. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and techniques to enhance service offerings. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support holistic patient care. Adhere to all safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a safe treatment environment. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, with an emphasis on pain management techniques. Experience in a med spa setting is preferred but not required. Proficiency in patient assessment and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
