Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through various massage techniques, ensuring a relaxing and therapeutic experience for clients. You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, delivering tailored treatments, and promoting overall wellness. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide a range of massage therapies including Deep tissue massage, Swedish, Prenatal and Sports Massage. Implement effective pain management strategies through personalized treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress in accordance with medical terminology standards. Ability to integrate basic hot stone and aromatherapy techniques when appropriate Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism in the treatment environment. Skills & Qualifications Licensed Massage Therapist in Pennsylvania Strong patient service skills to foster a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Proficient in patient assessment techniques to identify specific needs. Knowledgeable in pain management principles and practices. A minimum of 3+ years of experience highly recommended, but newly graduates are welcomed and will be considered. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction and retention. Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus. Experience in a medical spa setting is desirable but not mandatory.
