Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for promoting health and relaxation through expert massage techniques, combined with a thorough understanding of human physiology and anatomy. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will provide personalized treatments that enhance client well-being, alleviate pain, and support overall health. Duties Perform a variety of massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern. Educate clients on the benefits of different massage therapies and recommend ongoing treatment options for pain management and occupational health. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, progress notes, and client feedback in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe and hygienic treatment environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols such as CPR certification. Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to coordinate care for clients with specific medical conditions or pain management needs. Demonstrate excellent client communication skills to foster trust, address concerns, and promote customer satisfaction. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities related to massage therapy and physiology knowledge. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated expertise in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Proven experience working with diverse client populations in settings such as med spas or occupational health environments. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practice. Prior experience in pain management treatments or therapeutic interventions is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and developing customized treatment plans based on individual health conditions. Experience working in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of patient service and customer care. Certification in CPR or first aid is required; additional certifications in specialized therapies or occupational health are advantageous. Pay:
$40.00 - $70.00 per hour
