JOB DESCRIPTION
Position:
Licensed Massage Therapist needed on Tuesday & Thursday 4-8pm, and every other Saturday 9am-3pm. Further availability on Mondays 2-8pm or Fridays 9am-5pm.
Remuneration:
Excellent commission structure MedSpa hours of business: Monday 2-8pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am
- 8pm Friday 9am
- 5pm, Saturday 9am
- 3pm (closed Sunday)

Position Summary :
Treat clients by using touch to manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body. Perceive clients needs and modify their treatments accordingly. Maintain a safe and relaxing experience, relieve pain, help heal injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to the following: Provide 30-90 minute massages to clients by appointment Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body Advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire Evaluates clients' individual needs and expectations to determine most effective services or programs Interacts cooperatively with other spa team members to provide a seamless customer experience Presents a warm, gracious, and professional persona for clients and co-workers Adheres to a high professional standard in dress, grooming, language, and lifestyle Actively builds repeat clientele Properly cares for spa equipment and uses recommended amounts of product to help with cost controls Performs preparation work and properly cleans and restocks work area as required Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High School Diploma, GED, or related education/experience Two years+ massage work experience and hold current state license Enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge Must be a team player
