Job Description

Lancaster Medical Massage is looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing therapeutic massage practice as an independent contractor. Our clients come to LMM wanting to feel and function better. Our massages focus on pain relief, and individualized care rather than a traditional spa experience. If that's the kind of massage you want to specialize in, we'd love to meet you! Therapists receive 70% commission on services performed — currently averaging around $60 per hands-on hour, plus tips. This opportunity presents our contractors with many of the benefits of having your own massage practice without having to build one from scratch. You maintain the flexibility and independence of self-employment while Lancaster Medical Massage provides an established practice, client base, and the infrastructure needed to see clients. What LMM provides 70% commission on service (approximately $60 per hands-on hour, plus tips) An established and growing client base Client marketing and acquisition - no need to bring your own clients! Online booking and payment processing Practice space and business infrastructure Flexible scheduling — you set your own availability Sign-on bonus available What we're looking for We're looking for compassionate and thoughtful therapists who genuinely enjoy helping people feel better and take their practice seriously. New graduates are absolutely welcome. We care much more about a willingness to learn, curiosity, professionalism, and communication than the number of years you've been practicing. You may be a great fit if you: Enjoy therapeutic, problem-solving massage Listen carefully and adapt your treatment to each individual client Communicate comfortably about pressure, pain, goals, and preferences Are dependable and professional with your clients Enjoy working independently Are receptive to feedback and interested in continuing to develop your skills Want the freedom of working for yourself without having to generate an entire clientele on your own Requirements Current Pennsylvania Massage Therapy License Professional liability insurance Professional and reliable communication Position type: Independent Contractor / 1099
