Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, improved function, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives while working in a supportive healing environment. Responsibilities Work alongside Chiropractic Doctor as an independent contractor in providing professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, massage, relevant stretching/strengthening protocols and ADL instruction in a clinical setting to promote excellent treatment outcomes. Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective therapy practices. Communicate clearly with clients to explain procedures, address concerns, and offer guidance on self-care practices. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, client progress, and health history in compliance with privacy regulations. Stay current with industry trends and continuing education requirements to enhance skills, licenses and certifications. Uphold the highest standards of patient service and customer care to foster a welcoming environment for all patients. Qualifications Valid Pennsylvania state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Professional liability coverage. Proven experience in massage therapy, deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles. Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments and communicate effectively with patients. Prior experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not essential. We will train you on the protocols in use.
