Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and ensure comfort throughout each session Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information in compliance with privacy standards Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Collaborate with medical professionals or spa staff when necessary to coordinate care or recommend specialized therapies Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated proficiency in massage therapy techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Experience with patient service, client communication, and customer service excellence in a med spa or healthcare setting preferred Certifications in CPR and first aid required; additional certifications such as occupational health or sports therapy are advantageous Proven ability to perform various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and sports massage Prior experience with pain management techniques and understanding of anatomy for targeted treatment planning Excellent interpersonal skills to build trustful relationships with clients while maintaining professionalism Embark on a rewarding career where your healing touch transforms lives!
