Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand symptoms, medical history, and specific areas of concern. Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and self-care strategies to enhance results. Maintain detailed treatment records and document client progress accurately in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment maintenance. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized service that exceeds expectations. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually enhance your skills. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally. Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management techniques. Proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage experience is highly preferred. Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and occupational health practices. CPR certification is required to ensure client safety during treatments.
