Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans aligned with each client's unique circumstances. Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to support ongoing wellness outside of sessions. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations. Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to hygiene standards and proper equipment sanitation protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical practitioners when necessary for comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that foster trust and satisfaction. Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Expertise in various massage modalities including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for pain management. Knowledge of occupational health principles to support clients' work-related wellness needs. Prior med spa experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with aesthetic or therapeutic treatments in a clinical setting. Ability to communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans and health considerations. Certification or licensure as required by local regulations for practicing massage therapy.
