Role Description:

The Licensed Massage Therapist at Skin Sanctuary is responsible for providing high-quality massage treatments, building long-term client relationships, and supporting individualized treatment plans designed by our clinical team. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to ongoing education in advanced techniques and product knowledge. Massage Therapists are expected to operate with both clinical excellence and exceptional client experience. Massage Therapists are expected to contribute to both a positive and collaborative work environment. Massage Therapists are expected to maintain the high operational standards of Skin Sanctuary. We are looking for team members who are passionate about health, growth, and building meaningful relationships with clients.

Core Responsibilities:

Client Care & Treatments:

Provide professional treatments including, but not limited to:

• Customized therapeutic massage tailored to each clients needs
• Relaxation and stress-relief massage
• Deep tissue and targeted tension relief treatments
• Lymphatic drainage massage
• Prenatal massage (as applicable)
• Integrated treatment plans to support overall wellness and skin vitality
• Enhanced add-on services such as hot stones, cupping, etc.

Massage Therapists must:

• Follow Skin Sanctuary treatment protocols
• Customize treatments based on client needs
• Maintain proper sanitation and infection control standards
• Document treatments thoroughly in client charts
• Educate clients on treatment plans
• Confidently recommend professional products

Client Experience:

Create an elevated and welcoming environment where clients feel supported and cared for.

Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting clients warmly
• Providing thorough consultations
• Educating clients on treatment plans
• Supporting long-term treatment planning

Retail and Product Knowledge:

Massage Therapists are expected to confidently recommend professional products, educate clients on home-care routines, and support retail goals through ethical product recommendations. Retail recommendations should always prioritize client results and long-term skin health.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

• Active Massage Therapist License in South Dakota
• Passion for care and client education
• Professional appearance and communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong attention to detail and client care

PREFERRED

• Experience with advanced treatments
• Knowledge of advanced treatment protocols
