Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team, looking for a part time employee. Hourly rate plus tips. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, with the ability to assess patient needs and provide effective pain management through various massage techniques. This role is essential in promoting overall wellness and relaxation for our clients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care in a professional environment. This is a W2 employee position, not an independent contractor role. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor massage therapy sessions accordingly. Utilize various techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies to address client concerns. Maintain knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and other healthcare professionals. Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and addressing their inquiries with professionalism. Collaborate with other health professionals in an occupational health or med spa setting to enhance client care. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards. Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant client information accurately, and must be able to check clients out with credit card processor. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in various massage techniques. Familiarity with pain management practices and occupational health principles is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Strong patient assessment skills to identify individual needs effectively. Knowledge of trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage techniques is a must!
