Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) - Commission-Based Overview Oasis Massage Studio & Suites is looking for a professional, dependable, and client-focused Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our growing team in Memphis, TN. This is a commission-based position for a therapist who is passionate about wellness, providing excellent client care, and building a strong clientele. At Oasis, we focus on creating a relaxing, welcoming, and professional environment where every client feels cared for. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, professional, and comfortable working both independently and as part of the Oasis team. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a place to perform massages—we want a therapist who is interested in growing with Oasis and building lasting relationships with clients. Duties Provide professional massage therapy services based on each client's individual needs. Perform services such as Swedish massage, firm-pressure massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, hot stone/heat therapy, trigger point techniques, and other services within your training and scope of practice. Consult with clients before each session to understand concerns, pressure preferences, and wellness goals. Maintain accurate client notes and service information. Educate clients on appropriate self-care and wellness recommendations when applicable. Maintain a clean, sanitized, organized, and relaxing treatment room. Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after each appointment. Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled appointments. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date schedule. Follow all Oasis Massage Studio & Suites policies, procedures, and professional standards. Help create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat clients, referrals, and long-term client relationships. Qualifications Must hold a current Tennessee Massage Therapist license in good standing. Must maintain professional liability insurance. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, contraindications, and proper massage techniques. Strong communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain scheduled appointments. Ability to customize massage sessions based on individual client needs. Comfortable working with a diverse clientele. Willingness to continue developing professionally and learning new techniques. Previous massage therapy experience is preferred, but qualified newer therapists are encouraged to apply. Additional certifications such as prenatal massage, sports massage, cupping, manual lymphatic drainage, medical massage, or other specialties are a plus.
