Starting Pay We start out at a 40%(Therapist)/60%(BMC) plus 100% of tips split and upon performance increase to a 50%/50% split plus 100% of tips. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate therapy plans based on physiology knowledge and client feedback. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and ensure comfort throughout sessions. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments performed, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend follow-up treatments or lifestyle adjustments for ongoing wellness. Promote a welcoming atmosphere by delivering outstanding customer service and fostering positive client relationships. Provide exceptional customer service from intake to closeout with clients. Must be able to use POS system to collect payments and re-schedule client appointments. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR. Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and education. Ability to work weekends consistently and maintain flexible scheduling to accommodate client availability. Prior experience with pain management techniques and understanding of medical terminology is highly desirable. Commitment to professional growth through ongoing education in areas such as sports therapy or advanced massage modalities is a plus.
