Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current conditions, and specific pain points. Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate physiology and anatomy knowledge to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment options, progress, and post-session care instructions. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all sanitation standards and CPR certification requirements. Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy techniques and healthcare practices to continually enhance service quality. Experience Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a strong background in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Prior experience assessing patient needs and creating effective treatment plans based on client assessments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients. Familiarity with pain management techniques and occupational health considerations is highly desirable.
