Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and support overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and compassionate care. Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health concerns, pain points, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed treatment records and document client progress accurately and confidentially. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all hygiene standards and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, address questions, and build trusting relationships. Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to client care. Skills Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and client communication. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques to deliver effective treatments. Expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages. Ability to assess patient needs accurately through patient assessment skills and adapt treatments accordingly. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically. Certification as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with valid CPR certification required.
