Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our supportive, professional, collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, and will be dedicated to providing exceptional client service. This role requires an understanding of medical terminology and the ability to assess client needs effectively, ensuring a personalized approach to pain management and overall wellness. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy, tailored to individual client needs. Prenatal, cupping, and lymphatic are a bonus, but not required. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history and specific concerns. Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and progress made by patients. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients. Assist with very general/basic upkeep of the studio and maintain a sanitary and hygienic work environment Assist clients with checking out, payment, and rebooking as needed. Educate clients on self-care practices and wellness strategies post-session. Experience Familiarity with medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and pain management is advantageous. Understanding of how to write complete and detailed SOAP notes is required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.

More information Several weekday and/or weekend shifts to choose from (mostly afternoon/evening) It is almost always possible to pick up more hours on a temporary basis as well (but is not required) We pay PER PROJECT, not per hour. Average $40 (+/-) per 1 hour massage. You will also earn more based on the number of upgrades you provide (hot stone, cupping, reflexology, lymphatic, etc etc).
