Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our clients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment focused on health, healing, and customer satisfaction. Candidates must hold a valid massage therapy license and possess a passion for patient care and holistic health practices. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual client needs Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern Educate clients on treatment options, benefits, and self-care techniques to support ongoing health goals Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided and client progress in compliance with regulatory standards Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for all clients by adhering to occupational health and safety protocols Stay informed about current techniques, industry standards, and advancements in pain management and physiology knowledge Provide excellent patient service by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and attentive listening during each session Requirements Valid license as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations Proven experience with patient assessment, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients Experience working in a medical spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if needed Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to industry standards for hygiene and safety Join our team to help clients achieve improved health outcomes through expert massage therapy delivered in a supportive environment dedicated to wellness.
