Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health conditions, preferences, and treatment goals. Apply advanced knowledge of physiology and anatomy to develop effective treatment plans that promote pain management and overall wellness. Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment plans, expectations, and post-session care instructions to ensure satisfaction and safety. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress notes and treatment outcomes, adhering to medical terminology standards. Ensure a safe environment by following proper hygiene protocols and maintaining equipment in excellent condition. Stay current with industry best practices and certifications such as CPR to provide safe and effective care at all times. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally. Proven experience in providing various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to massage therapy practices. Prior experience in patient assessment and pain management techniques that enhance client outcomes. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and therapeutic treatments. Certification in CPR is required to ensure safety during all sessions. Experience working in diverse settings such as clinics, wellness centers, or sports facilities is preferred but not mandatory.
