The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services aimed at promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for clients. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver effective treatments tailored to individual needs. The Massage Therapist will create a welcoming environment, ensuring exceptional patient service and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and occupational health to deliver safe and effective massage therapy sessions. Educate clients on pain management strategies and recommend self-care practices for continued wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical standards. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas in accordance with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, ensuring comfort, and fostering a relaxing atmosphere. Stay updated on the latest techniques and industry standards through ongoing professional development. Experience Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on therapeutic massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a medical spa or occupational health setting is preferred. Strong understanding of pain management strategies and client assessment procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Experience with med spa environments or similar wellness facilities is considered a plus.
