Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and client communication. Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness outside of sessions. Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting client progress, medical terminology where applicable, and session details to ensure continuity of care. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all sanitation standards and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures clearly, and foster trust and satisfaction. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in continuing education opportunities related to massage therapy techniques and occupational health trends. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse clients. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions. Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in customer service roles emphasizing client communication and occupational health awareness is highly valued.
