Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology, anatomy knowledge, and pain management history. Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options, progress, and post-treatment care instructions to ensure a positive experience. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client preferences, treatment details, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations. Stay current with medical terminology and industry best practices by participating in ongoing education and training sessions. Ensure all equipment and treatment areas meet safety standards; perform regular sanitation and maintenance of massage tables and tools. Collaborate with other practitioners to coordinate comprehensive patient care when necessary. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice professionally. Proven experience in massage therapy, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Structural Integration is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments effectively. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management practices. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar wellness environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for continuous learning is highly valued. $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
