Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our clients. Your expertise will help create a calming environment where clients feel valued and cared for, contributing to their health journey. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage. Assess client conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to maximize therapeutic benefits. Maintain detailed medical documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment outcomes, in electronic health records (EHR). Ensure strict adherence to health education principles and safety protocols, including manual handling and basic life support (BLS) procedures. Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment plans, progress reports, and any necessary follow-up care. Manage clinic operations efficiently by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Stay updated on industry best practices and certifications such as CPR, blood sampling techniques, and medical terminology relevant to patient care. Qualifications Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong understanding of patient service principles. Certification from an accredited massage therapy program; state licensure or registration as required. Knowledge of medical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) management systems. Familiarity with critical care experience or acute care environments is highly desirable. Additional skills in nursing support, plastic surgery recovery processes, or diagnostic radiology are advantageous. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain treatments clearly and empathetically.
