In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, relieve pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern. Maintain clear and professional communication with clients to understand their goals, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session recommendations. Ensure client comfort and safety throughout each session while adhering to all health and safety protocols. Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Stay informed about current massage therapy practices, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance service quality. Promote a positive customer service experience by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns promptly. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pain management techniques, and occupational health considerations. Proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and healthcare settings. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar environment is preferred. Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple clients in a fast-paced setting.
