Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored massage plans Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining clear communication throughout each session Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to support ongoing health benefits Maintain detailed treatment records, including session notes and patient progress reports Adhere to all health and safety protocols, occupational health standards, and licensing requirements to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Skills Strong patient service skills with the ability to connect empathetically and professionally with diverse clients Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to identify areas of tension or discomfort Expertise in deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage and pain management strategies Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building trust and client satisfaction Knowledge of occupational health practices to maintain hygiene standards and prevent injury
