In this role, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans, exceptional customer service, and professional care. Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand symptoms, medical history, and specific areas of concern. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans for pain management and relaxation. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, address concerns, and provide personalized care that enhances their overall experience. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all sanitation standards and maintaining proper equipment usage. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing education and training related to physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and new massage techniques. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). Proven experience in massage therapy including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Prior experience working in a med spa or healthcare setting is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
