In this role, you will deliver tailored massage treatments designed to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and promote overall wellness. Your expertise will play a vital part in supporting our patients' journey toward better health. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific pain areas. Conduct patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy delivery. Educate patients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to maintain long-term wellness. Document treatment details accurately in patient records, including progress notes and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive pain management strategies. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients during therapy sessions. Experience Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice in the state. Proven experience in patient service, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills. Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Prior work in a occupational health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and developing customized treatment plans. Strong understanding of pain management principles and techniques for chronic conditions. URGENTLY
seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable Licensed Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Providence, UT. Our clinic provides a collaborative environment offering chiropractic, massage therapy, and physical therapy services. We have an immediate part-time opening for one to two days per week, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
