Job Overview If you are looking for a fun and energetic team to grow with, look no further! The Federal Injury Center is an expanding injury center that specializes in working with federal workers. The employees of Ice and Border Control, USPS, VA, TSA are just a few of the departments we work with. Our ideal candidate is confident and comfortable being independent. We are not looking for an individual who is just looking for their next "job" but someone who wants to invest in a career to help patients get back to their full potential. We will consider new graduates. What you'll do Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor massage treatments accordingly. Perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and scraping, to address specific client concerns. Implement effective pain management strategies that enhance overall client wellness. Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy. Maintain accurate records using medical terminology to document treatment plans and progress. Provide outstanding customer service by creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all clients. Collaborate with other health professionals to support occupational health initiatives and enhance client care. Basic qualifications Valid state license as a Massage Therapist. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge and physiology principles. Preferred qualifications Experience in patient service and assessment within a therapeutic setting. Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy. Familiarity with pain management practices and occupational health standards. Previous experience in a med spa environment is highly desirable.
