Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking passionate and experienced Instructors to join our team. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and training in the field of massage therapy. This is an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with aspiring professionals. This is a part-time position contracted for specific course subjects you have experience in (Myofascial Release, Geriatric Massage, Acupressure, Lymphatics, Business Basics, Energetic Anatomy, Ethics and the Law, Kinesiology, Pathology, Sports, Universal Standard Precautions).
Duties:
  • Conduct classroom and practical instruction in various massage-related subjects
  • Follow prepared sylllabi and lesson plans to facilitate effective learning.
  • Provide lectures, hands-on training, and demonstrations to students.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure curriculum relevancy.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the massage therapy field or related subject matter.
  • Possess a valid Utah massage therapy license (for massage-specific courses).
  • Additional training/certification in Geriatric and Myofascial Release required.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy related to massage therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively educate and engage adult learners.
  • Experience in curriculum development is a plus.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
