Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage tailored to each client's needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure effective pain management Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend self-care practices for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care when necessary Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Skilled in various massage modalities including deep tissue therapy and trigger point techniques Strong understanding of occupational health principles and best practices for client safety Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively assess patient needs and explain treatment plans clearly Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise directly impacts clients' health and happiness.
