Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. As a Massage Therapist here at ANCC, you will provide massage services to enhance the well-being and relaxation of our members. By delivering personalized treatments that focus on stress relief, muscle recovery, and overall wellness, you will create a rejuvenating experience for all clients. Your role will also involve maintaining a clean and tranquil treatment space and ensuring the highest standards of member care. With a commitment to excellence and hospitality, you will help foster a welcoming and restorative environment at ANCC.
Job Summary:
The candidate should be passionate about promoting a holistic approach to personal health and be familiar with various massage services that can help reduce pain and stress, such as deep tissue, Swedish, reflexology, shiatsu, and lymphatic drainage massage.
Overview:
Provide 30/60/90-minute massages to clients by appointment. Take a detailed client history and not any health conditions. Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing. Designs specific sessions based on members individual needs. Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to members receiving massage therapy on a regular basis. Creates excellent member experience through friendly and helpful attitude. Performs hot stone, deep tissue, and/or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training. Utilized other approved modalities, in accordance with applicable law. Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients. Assess clients body conditions to determine best treatment practices. Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).
Requirements:
Current local registration, certification and/or licensure (Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Massage Therapist, Licensed Massage Practitioner, Registered Massage Therapist). Knowledge of a variety of massage modalities (i.e. Deep Tissue, Pre-natal , Hot Rocks, Swedish, etc.). Must have current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. Minimum one year experience as a massage therapist. Knowledge of industry with the customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients and guests.

Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Additional Information:
