RxWellness Spine & Health is looking for a Full-Time Float Massage Therapist to support our growing network of chiropractic and wellness offices throughout Virginia and Maryland. Unlike a traditional Massage Therapist position assigned to one office, our Float Massage Therapist will provide coverage at different RxWellness locations based on scheduling and patient needs. Offices close at 3:00 PM As a Float Massage Therapist, your assigned office location may vary based on coverage and business needs. Candidates should be comfortable traveling between RxWellness locations throughout Virginia and/or Maryland as scheduled. Job Description The Float Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage services that complement chiropractic treatment, promote relaxation, address everyday physical challenges, and improve patients' overall sense of well-being. You will work alongside our chiropractic and wellness teams to provide a superior patient experience while educating patients on the benefits of massage therapy as part of their overall care. Because this is a float position, you will also play an important role in supporting offices when additional Massage Therapist coverage is needed. Mileage and parking will be reimbursed for any travel miles beyond the base office (Ashburn). Job Duties & Responsibilities Travel to and provide coverage at assigned RxWellness locations Provide massage therapy services and treatments based on individual patient needs Work collaboratively with chiropractors and other members of the patient care team Develop and maintain positive, personalized relationships with patients Educate patients on massage therapy services, treatments, and benefits Provide a professional and welcoming patient experience Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of massage therapy treatment areas Remain current on licensing requirements, certifications, techniques, and industry trends Position Requirements Active Massage Therapy License in the state(s) where services will be provided — must be licensed, not certified Willingness and ability to travel between assigned RxWellness locations throughout Virginia and/or Maryland Reliable transportation Flexibility to provide coverage at different office locations based on scheduling needs Ability to perform a variety of massage therapy services and treatments Strong communication and patient service skills Ability to work effectively with different teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of massage therapy experience in a professional environment Knowledge of trigger point, myofascial, and neuromuscular therapy Experience working in chiropractic, physical therapy, rehabilitation, wellness, or another healthcare setting Licensed in both Virginia and Maryland Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Employee discount Free chiropractic care Referral program RxWellness Spine & Health is a thriving and growing organization, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and adaptable Massage Therapist who enjoys working with different teams and patients.
