Job Description
If you're a driven, passionate massage therapist looking to grow a regular clientele and truly make a difference in the community, Latitude Massage would love to hear from you! You will perform 60/90/120 minute integrative massages, setting your own pace with the number of appointments you'd like per shift and the number of breaks you need. Prenatal massage experience is a plus, but we will train you in prenatal as well as offer paid massage training in-house as needed. The studio can accommodate a Thai massage practitioner with a mat and plenty of cushions. Benefits include a Simple IRA retirement plan (with company matching.) Because self-care is of the utmost importance in our line of work, Latitude Massage employees can enjoy a free 90 minute massage each month. Continuing education is also a vital part of professional development, so Latitude Massage will reimburse up to $300 a year in NCBTMB approved CEUs that align with Latitude offerings. Latitude Massage opened its doors in January 2021 and has grown immensely in a short period of time. The studio has five treatment rooms. The team consists of six hardworking massage therapists dedicated to providing the best massage treatments in town (we have been a finalist in "Best of Cville" 2021-2026 (and we won runner-up in 2024!) We also have a phenomenal studio manager and a receptionist, and we offer awesome support to each other! You will be a W-2 employee earning commission plus tips for the massages given. The starting hourly pay of $42 is per hour of hands-on massage time plus 100% of the tips you earn. You can earn an additional $6 commission for an optional hot-stone add-on. There will be an opportunity to discuss an increase in pay at your 6 month performance review and an additional pay increase at the 12 month performance review (and subsequent annual reviews.) •Flexible schedule depending on needs of studio and therapist.
