Inner Peace Wellness is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. We are an established Great Bridge wellness practice with a growing client base and a strong focus on personalized care. Our sessions are customized to each client using the therapist's knowledge, experience, and range of modalities. You should be versatile and comfortable providing everything from relaxing, restorative massage to focused therapeutic and deep-tissue bodywork and/or complimentary therapies . Our sessions are customized rather than scripted. A strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, excellent listening skills, and the ability to adapt your techniques to each client's needs are essential. Candidates must have the physical stamina, hands-on skills, and time-management ability to confidently provide 90- and 120-minute sessions while remaining on schedule. Responsibilities Provide high-quality, customized massage and bodywork Perform 75-, 90-, and 120-minute sessions Conduct client intake and understand goals, health history, and preferences Select appropriate techniques and modalities for each client Communicate professionally and compassionately Maintain accurate client notes Manage appointment time effectively Check clients out following appointments Maintain a clean, welcoming treatment environment Follow all professional, licensing, sanitation, and safety standards Wash laundry from the day Qualifications Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program Current Virginia Massage Therapist license and required local licensing Professional liability insurance Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology Excellent massage/bodywork and customer-service skills Ability and stamina to provide 90-minute and 2-hour sessions Dependable, professional, positive, and adaptable Approximately 10-15 hours of availability per week Combination of weekday and weekend availability 1-2+ years of professional experience preferred Additional Modalities Are a Plus We welcome therapists with a diverse skill set, including: Therapeutic and deep-tissue massage Myofascial and trigger point techniques Cupping Medical or corrective massage Sports/performance bodywork Prenatal massage Reflexology Craniosacral Therapy Reiki or other Energy Therapy Aromatherapy or spa therapies Craniosacral Therapy and/or Energy Therapy experience is especially welcomed.
