Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to patients, helping them improve their overall well-being and alleviate pain. Your expertise in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and acute pain management will be essential in delivering exceptional patient service.Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide relief from muscle tension and pain through targeted massage therapy
- Educate clients on proper self-care techniques to enhance treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy techniques and advancements in the field
Qualifications:
- Valid Massage Therapist license/certification (Specialized in deep tissue)
- Proficient knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong assessment skills to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patients' conditions accurately
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices in a healthcare setting
