Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client's condition and goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend ongoing treatments for pain management and occupational health concerns. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive wellness strategies for clients with complex conditions. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to health regulations and sanitation protocols. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and certifications such as med spa practices to continually enhance service quality. Skills Strong patient service skills with a focus on empathy, active listening, and clear communication. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to identify specific areas of tension or injury. Expertise in advanced massage modalities including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain relief. Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Experience in occupational health settings or med spas is highly desirable for delivering specialized treatments. Excellent customer service skills to foster trust and ensure a positive client experience from start to finish.
