Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client history and physiological considerations. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, ensuring compliance with health regulations and privacy standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop integrated pain management strategies when necessary. Ensure a safe and hygienic treatment environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment properly. Stay current with industry trends, continuing education opportunities, and certifications such as CPR to enhance professional expertise. Skills Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Proven experience in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent customer service skills combined with professionalism in all client interactions.
