Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal massage tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify areas of concern and develop customized treatment plans. Educate clients on the benefits of different massage modalities and provide guidance on self-care practices. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with health regulations. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment maintenance. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, manage expectations, and foster a relaxing experience. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually enhance your skills. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Experience preferred in massage therapy, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and prenatal massage. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management techniques. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and communicate effectively with clients about their needs. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that promotes client trust and satisfaction.
