Job Description

Mountainside Community Wellness Center is expanding our massage therapy team! We are looking for two compassionate, skilled massage therapists who want to practice in a collaborative, community-centered wellness environment.
We are ideally seeking:
Sports and Clinical Massage Therapist This position is ideal for a therapist with training or experience in sports massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, injury recovery, mobility, and pain management. The right candidate will enjoy working with active individuals, athletes, chiropractic patients, and clients managing acute or chronic musculoskeletal concerns. Craniosacral Massage Therapist This position is ideal for a therapist with formal craniosacral training who is comfortable providing gentle, nervous-system-informed bodywork. Experience working with clients experiencing stress, chronic pain, headaches, tension, trauma, or nervous system dysregulation is strongly preferred.
POSITION DETAILS
Part-time, in-person position Flexible schedule based on therapist availability and patient demand Some evening or Saturday availability is preferred
Compensation:
$50 to $55 per hour, depending on experience, credentials, and specialty training Straight hourly compensation with no commission or bonus structure Opportunity to work within an established multidisciplinary wellness center alongside chiropractic, physical therapy, counseling, herbalism, massage therapy, and health and wellness coaching
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct appropriate client intakes and review health history, symptoms, treatment goals, and contraindications Provide safe, individualized massage therapy within the therapist's education, training, and professional scope Develop thoughtful treatment approaches based on each client's needs Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation Prepare, clean, and maintain a professional treatment space Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients Collaborate appropriately with other practitioners within the wellness center Protect client privacy and maintain professional boundaries Build and maintain a dependable treatment schedule
QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a recognized massage therapy education program Current Vermont Massage Therapist, Bodyworker, or Touch Professional registration through the Office of Professional Regulation, or eligibility to obtain registration before beginning work Relevant training in sports or clinical massage, craniosacral therapy, or another applicable specialty Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills Professional, dependable, and comfortable working independently Commitment to inclusive, respectful, and client-centered care Previous experience in a chiropractic, rehabilitation, healthcare, or multidisciplinary wellness setting is preferred but not required
Pay:
$50.00 - $52.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 20.0 per week
