Overview Premier Therapy Associates | Edmonds, WA Premier Therapy Associates is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our privately owned outpatient PT/OT practice in Edmonds. This is an opportunity for a massage therapist who enjoys a clinical environment and wants to work alongside physical and occupational therapists to help patients manage pain, improve mobility, recover from injury, and maintain their progress after rehabilitation. We are looking for someone who is passionate about therapeutic, clinically informed massage rather than a traditional spa environment. Duties Perform therapeutic massage sessions utilizing techniques such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, Swedish massage, and prenatal massage to address individual patient needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client history, physiology, and specific pain management goals Help patients understand how massage may complement their rehabilitation and ongoing wellness goals Perform thorough intake and appropriately document massage services Implement a cash-based service model with superbills upon request for patients who wish to submit claims to their insurance Collaborate with PT/OT providers when appropriate to support continuity of care Maintain a clean, professional, and safe treatment environment Provide an exceptional patient experience that aligns with Premier Therapy Associates' standards of care Qualifications Valid WA state licensure as a Massage Therapist Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and Swedish massage Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Prior experience working in medical spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop customized treatment plans accordingly Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients and healthcare providers.
