The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide effective pain management and promote overall wellness. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring a comfortable environment for clients. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge in anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent customer service skills. Must be willing to join existing insurance network through our organization. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Implement pain management techniques tailored to each client's specific conditions. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to medical terminology standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before and after treatments. Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and occupational health initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices. Requirements Valid Washington state license in massage therapy Active professional liability insurance Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in providing patient service with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Familiarity with occupational health practices is preferred. Previous experience in a med spa setting is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
