Duties Deliver professional massage therapy sessions focused on medical and veteran care, addressing specific health concerns and treatment goals. Assess client needs through consultation and develop personalized treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions, progress, and treatment outcomes. Follow established safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to coordinate care plans. Assist clients in understanding post-treatment care instructions to maximize benefits. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay current with industry best practices. Support clients through insurance billing processes; while insurance credentialing assistance is provided, being credentialed is not mandatory to apply. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist (LMT). Prior experience in medical or veteran care settings is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated new graduates eager to specialize in this field. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse client populations. Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy during client interactions. Experience with insurance billing or credentialing processes is advantageous but not necessary, as guidance will be provided throughout the credentialing process.
