In this role, you will deliver targeted, effective treatments designed to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and promote overall well being for our clients. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will enable you to assess patient needs accurately and provide personalized care that makes a real difference. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your skills directly contribute to clients' health and recovery, with the potential to grow your schedule and add additional days as demand increases. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and treatment goals Develop customized massage plans utilizing deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities Perform therapeutic massages focused on pain management, muscle relaxation, and injury recovery Educate clients on self care practices and post treatment protocols to enhance results Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient progress notes and treatment plans Collaborate with healthcare providers or occupational health teams when necessary for integrated care Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that prioritizes patient comfort and confidentiality Qualifications Active Washington State Massage Therapy License (must be kept current) Proven experience in medical or spa settings with a focus on therapeutic massage techniques Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Skilled in patient service, assessment, and delivering tailored treatment plans Familiarity with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients Experience with or willingness to become credentialed with insurance providers such as Kaiser and TriWest Prior experience working in occupational health or med spa environments is highly desirable Active malpractice insurance required (must be kept current) Join us if you're passionate about helping others heal through expert touch and personalized care!
