Job Description
Job Overview Urban Spa Salon in Vancouver, WA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Independent Contractor Massage Therapist ( or any other wellness provider) to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services tailored to meet each client's unique needs, fostering relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your schedule while delivering high-quality treatments in a professional environment. Your expertise in various massage techniques and your commitment to patient care will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. This is a part time independent contractor lease position. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage therapy techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal massage to address client concerns. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual physiology and anatomy knowledge. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session recommendations. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment adhering to all health and safety regulations. Keep detailed records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress updates. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance service quality. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by building rapport and ensuring client satisfaction during every session. Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and prenatal massage. Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and education about treatment benefits. Ability to work independently as an contractor while maintaining professionalism and adherence to licensing requirements.
