We have amazing clients who are eager to meet you and fill up your schedule immediately. There are many flexible shifts available including weekdays, weekends, opening, mid-shifts, and closing shifts. Your schedule can be crafted to best fit your needs. About Us Owned and operated locally by massage therapists, Bergamot Massage is a Best of Madison award winner 3 years in a row. We're a very busy massage studio located on Madison's west side in the exquisite Deco building. We've been stewards of massage therapy and bodywork by providing high quality relaxation and pain relief services since 2010 to our local community and surrounding area. Our most important asset is our staff: caring, mindful therapists and a stellar front desk team. Our top priority is finding ways to support and care for all our employees. We know the key to excellent service is providing happiness to our staff and the ability for them to be themselves. You'll be welcomed into an environment where the owners understand massage therapists because they are massage therapists. We understand the delicate nature of massage and strive to care for not only clients, but our employees as well. We will work directly with you to avoid burnout, ensure a good work life balance, and create a space you'll be proud to perform in. We provide all the linens, oils, massage tables, equipment, and on-the-clock training you'll need to provide an amazing level of service. All we need from you is you and your top-notch massage skills! Our therapists provide various modalities, including, but not limited to, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Myofascial, Chair, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Thai, Reiki and Tui Na. What We Bring A steady, consistent flow of loyal clientele with a fantastic reception team that will schedule clients for you. Commission of 40% per service provided: This equates to around $25,600.00 - $76,800.00 yearly depending on length of shift, part-time or full-time status and which services are provided! Bi-weekly pay cycle with all taxes calculated for you already. 10% commission on retail sales. Flexible scheduling. We will work with you to find the best schedule. Tips paid in cash after each shift. Ability to see your schedule in real time at work and make notes on clients easily. What You Bring An ongoing passion for learning. The required massage therapy licenses in accordance with Wisconsin state law. Personal massage liability insurance. The ability to physically perform the duties required of a massage therapist. A caring, helpful attitude toward clients and co-workers. Excellent customer service skills with the desire to work in a team environment. A self-driven, entrepreneurial attitude toward achieving your goals. Job duties Providing massage and bodywork treatments to clientele. Daily shared laundry responsibilities including loading and starting the washing machine, loading and starting the dryer, and folding and stocking the cleaned linens and towels. Cleaning and sanitizing massage room and massage equipment. Working cooperatively with coworkers, management, and the owners. Attending staff meetings and training events.
