Job Description
We are a full-service Salon/Spa/Studio and Integrative Healing Center which includes (5) treatment rooms, a café & cold-pressed juicery, and a small and large studio/event space in Salem, WI. We are seeking a licensed and professional Massage Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic massage services in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, excellent client care, attention to detail in documentation, and a commitment to teamwork and company standards. This role requires adherence to Healing Grounds Center's policies, procedures, and treatment flows to ensure consistency in client experience. Pay +
Benefits Employee Based Commission Structure Hours:
Availability for part-time or full-time- require 1 evening shift per week and at least 2 weekend shifts per monthBenefits:
Wellness benefits within our integrative healing center Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough client intakes and consultations prior to each session and document findings accurately in Jane App Customize massage sessions based on client preferences and conditions while following company treatment standards and protocols Deliver massage therapy services within scope of practice and licensing guidelines Educate clients on aftercare, stretching, hydration, and self-care recommendations Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times Address client feedback respectfully and professionally Complete client check-in, reconcile appointments, sell products and gift cards, review waivers/forms, manage cancellations, and book services or classes within Wellness Living Prepare treatment rooms prior to each session with clean linens, stocked supplies, and proper setup Maintain sanitation standards for hands, surfaces, tools, and equipment in accordance with company and state regulations Reset and tidy treatment room between clients within designated turnaround time Sort, wash, unload, and fold laundry each shift, including folding at least one load per shift Navigate company systems including scheduling software, music systems, phones, and related applications Complete accurate and timely SOAP notes or electronic charting in Jane App after each session Maintain and organize Schedule at a Glance sheets and Business Building Binder documentation Adhere to scheduled appointment times, break periods, and proper opening/closing procedures Communicate schedule changes, availability, and time-off requests according to company policy Collaborate with fellow therapists, front desk staff, and management Attend required meetings, trainings, and continuing education sessions Assist with light operational duties as needed (e.g., assisting with client checkout, removing trash from treatment room) Participate actively in Slack communication and stay up to date on specials, events, classes, and scheduling updates Promote monthly specials and services to clients Qualifications Active Wisconsin Massage Therapy license (as required by state law) Current professional liability insurance Strong knowledge of massage therapy techniques and therapeutic applications Experience with electronic charting systems such as Jane App preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate documentation Professional, reliable, and team-orientedJob Types:
