Unfiltered Wellness Studio is seeking a compassionate, professional Licensed Massage Therapist to become part of our growing wellness team in Kearneysville, WV. This is a unique opportunity to grow with a brand-new wellness studio from the beginning. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping clients feel their best while building lasting relationships in a welcoming, collaborative environment. We are open to flexible compensation arrangements, including independent contractor, room rental, or commission-based opportunities, depending on experience and existing clientele. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and patient feedback Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care practices for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient assessments, treatment notes, and progress reports in compliance with medical terminology standards Ensure a safe environment by adhering to occupational health protocols and maintaining hygiene standards Stay current with industry best practices and certifications such as CPR, anatomy knowledge, and pain management techniques Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy Proven experience in patient service, customer service, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and occupational health settings preferred CPR certification required; additional certifications in medical terminology or med spa treatments are a plus Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop personalized treatment plans Excellent communication skills with a passion for helping others achieve their wellness goals Join us to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through expert massage therapy!
