Medical Assistant - Primary Care LiveWell Homecare Agency Anchorage, AK Job Details $23.27 - $35.60 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Medical assisting Full Job Description Role Overview As a Medical Assistant (MA-C), you will perform both administrative and clinical tasks, including scheduling appointments, updating patient information in EPIC, and taking vital signs. Your role supports team collaboration and offers pathways to leadership, fostering a patient-focused environment built on values of Justice, Excellence, Dignity, Integrity, and Compassion. Key Responsibilities Assist with clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. Support administrative functions like scheduling and updating patient records. Contribute to delivering reliable, cost-effective healthcare in a team-oriented setting. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited school with hands-on clinical training, or completed a medical assistant apprenticeship, or military medical training, or have at least one year of clinical experience. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Minimum of six months healthcare and medical assistant experience.
Preferred:
National Medical Assistant Certification.
