Birmingham, AL Job Details Part-time $15 - $17 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Electronic health records (EHR) management High school diploma or GED Health record tracking Managing patient records Full Job Description We are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our healthcare practice running efficiently. Our Medical Assistants will work directly with healthcare practice staff to maintain patient records.Duties and Responsibilities:
Triage patients efficiently as per clinic standard operating protocols. Record patient information such as vital signs and weight. Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments. Help in the front office as needed, taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facility. Assist in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed.Schedule:
Monday - Friday, with one half-day off. Must work one weekend a month. Requirements forInterview:
Great attitude Pediatric experience is a plus High level of professionalism Strong customer service skills Experience in using electronic medical records Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be willing to work in a team settingRequired Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail, effective organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentEducation/Experience:
Requires a high school diploma orEquivalent Physical/Mental Demands:
